- Identity and contact details: first name, last name, phone number, email - Account information: credentials, preferences - Verification data (drivers and couriers): ID document, driving licence, vehicle documents - Geolocation, only while actively using the service: finding a driver, pickup, tracking an ongoing trip — never permanent or background geolocation without an actual service need - History of trips, deliveries and bookings - Payment information tied to your transactions (see section 4)
We use your data to: - Manage your account - Connect users with drivers/couriers - Organize and track trips and deliveries - Manage payments and secure transactions - Provide customer support - Prevent and detect fraud
We limit data sharing to the providers strictly necessary for the service to work: - Our payment provider, for secure transaction processing - Our geolocation/mapping service, for route calculation - Our hosting provider, for secure data storage Your data is also shared, strictly to the extent necessary to carry out the service, with the driver/courier or user involved in a given trip or delivery (for example: name and location so pickup can happen). We never sell your data to third parties.
A-TaSA never directly stores your sensitive banking data. Payment processing is handled by our secure payment provider, which applies its own security standards for storing and processing this information.
We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Exact retention periods vary depending on the nature of each piece of data and the legal, accounting or regulatory obligations applicable in Benin. Beyond these periods, your data is deleted or anonymized.
ATASA Group, Société à responsabilité limitée (SARL), is the data controller responsible for the personal data collected and used as part of A-TaSA services.
You may request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time. This deletion may be limited where we must keep certain information to meet legal, accounting or security obligations (for example: fraud prevention, ongoing disputes, tax obligations). To exercise this right, see the "Exercising your rights over your personal data" section below.
